Question for the pros/experts?

Plus the guys in the south dont have that thing called winter or closed bass seasons...

Whenever I tell other college teams from the southern states that we have a season for bass they are truly shocked. With our season the way it is, we miss a lot of the winter, prespawn and spawning patterns that many of the southern anglers have become so good at; which also adds to their arsenal and versatility. Our window for those patterns is so much smaller than down south.

However, I'm not complaining. We have some of the best bass fishing in the nation. Tradition is tradition and I don't foresee our regs changing anytime soon.
