Rost
I will be headed over to the Appleton/Oshkosh area for business next week and I am wondering if packing the fishing gear would be worth my time? I understand that the Fox River is still open for walleyes. Is there any shore fishing areas a guy can go cast? Not looking for anyone's hot spots, I am just looking for some general info.Anything's better than sitting in the hotel!Feel free to email me at [email protected]
perchking
Rost,I am heading down to the Fox this weekend for a chance at some of those monster eyes. I have only fished down there one other time, but I would recommend going out of Voyager Park in De Pere. When I was down there last year the shores out of there had tons of people fishing and catching.Good Luck.PK

Nick Kuhn
I'd say go to De Pere as well but don't hope for solitude. The sheer quantity of fish moving in from Green Bay only to be obstructed by the dam makes the fishing great. The only problem is this is no secret, and crowds flock there every year. GatorBait
Yeah, Voyager Park in Depere is the best bet for shore fishing. Plenty of fish caught from the shores also. The pigs are there to be caught. Good Luck.
