Open water?

Recommended Posts

I can't say that's what I wanted to hear, but thanks for the guess.

I was hoping someone would reply "in the next couple days".

The longest days of the year are when it's no longer safe to drive out on the ice, and you're waiting to get the boat out.

Seaguar im goingto have to disagree with you on this one. Late ice is a terrible time to be on the ice and the fish rarely bite. winkwhistle Your time would probably be better spent getting the boat ready for open water.

I would get my boat ready if it wasn't buried in a mound of snow yet. So I guess I'll go drill a 100 holes and feed some perch, maybe they will grow up then. You in Chris??

I plan on going out again this afernoon. Probably for the last time. We still had about 18" of ice on Anglers last weekend but the shorelines are becoming a problem.

Assuming he made it out ok from his text I got earlier. Few still on Smiths Bay on West Okoboji to today.
