New Ford Engine

What are your guys take on how this new engine will run? Will it effect the rest of the field competitively? Do you see a Rousch or RPM run at the end of the season? I really think they are getting this baby fine tuned for a late run!

I don't know. It will be interesting to see. It seems like everytime a manufacturer comes out with a new and improved motor, they blow up the first few times they are used. They just push the envelope a little too far.

I personally don't think it will make much of a difference. I mean, with the technology they have now, how much better can they really make it and stay within NASCAR's specifications.

I wonder how long it will be until NASCAR changes from the carb they run now and switch to the electronic fuel injection?

It's about time they run injectors, although I think it'll usher in a whole new host of problems and ways for teams to cheat.

How are they going to restrict the motors at super speedways? Turn off an injector or two?
