GPS Repair

Does anyone know of a place in the metro that can fix my GPS? it is hard to use my lakemaster chip with a busted GPS! Thanks

What kind is it? I have a Lowrance H20 C. My GPS signal went out. I called the Lowrance "help" desk, but was offered a $150 repair tab instead of on the fly help. It was horrible customer service. I ended up finding instructions on line to do soft / hard reboots. On about my 10th hard reboot attempt, I finally got a GPS signal back. The negative is that once you do a hard reboot you lose your waypoints.

If you would have read a little bit farther, you could have saved the weighpoints on a MMC or SD card.

Also I am thinking that if you had to do a hard reboot 10 times ...... your problem has not gone away.

We live in a throw away society, not repair. Doubtful you'll find anyone economical on fixing it...sad.

Yep the best bet is to buy a new GPS right now. Do you trust the GPS???
