Can you use this same license to fish the Mississippi boarder water for walleye till the 4-30-10 expiration date?

You should be able to keep fishing until April 30th when the season ends anywhere with your license. I think what he was referring to was how spearing ends the same day as big game fish so the license is invalid after then.

i was just going to ask this exact same question... i plan on being on pool 2 a lot til opener, so am i still valid with my license targeting walleye (C&R per rules/regs)? or when should i buy my new license? i mean im going to buy a license for next year inevitably, so i mind as well do it like now.

Having two licenses that overlap doesn't mean you have double the amount of fish to keep. A license isn't a bucket for an amount of fish. It's the license that allows you to fish - end of story.

It's the regulations that limit the amount of fish you can possess. Not the license. The license just lets you fish.
