I am thinking on building a permant spear house. I am looking for a design for good skis. I will build anything. Not looking for a pair of downhill skis nailed toghter with a couple two by fours. I have seen 2x6's with rounded tips for skis. Any ideas? Pictures would be nice. Thanks guys

I went with light wall 2x2 steel on the house that merk has slide really east on ice yet goes thru and over snow really well I cant seem to find any pics of it may be merk can snap a couple for you and on my other perm I made removeable skis out of some rounded angle iron or you could possiblly use pipe as well.

How big of a perm is it anyway? hat will determine alot.
