Head Light Upgrade

Recommended Posts

I have an 04 Honda Rancher 350. I would like to upgrade the headlights to something a little brighter for trail riding at night. I took one of the bulbs out and took it to F/F and Carquest. No luck. The local Honda dealer was no help either. Anyone out there made this upgrade? Thanks.

I just added some extra lights wink

Back in '94 I just went to the auto parts store

and bought a pair of driving lights and like the old saying goes you get what you pay for laugh

So the last three rides I just got lights made for ATV's and no issues I also wired them direct so they

can be used anytime without having the key on.

Thanks guys! I finally came to the conclusion that adding lights was the way to go versus upgrading existing. I recently ordered a pair of atv lights made by Warn. Is that what I see in the second photo? One reason I decided to go this route was because I am unsure if my alternator will keep up with the extra amp draw. If it can't I can turn them off and still have the factory lighting. I am leaving today for Wisc. for some trail riding. I bought a set of cheapo driving lights from F/F for this trip. I mounted one to the rack. Not too sure it will last long, seems kinda flimsy being that it has a plastic mounting surface.
