Favorite Rainbow Trout Lure

What are some of your favorite lures for catching some Rainbows through the ice?

I find it tough to beat a jig with flippers or a spider ant tipped with a waxie.

I live by D.L. and love to fish rainbows were do u ice fish for them I know there is a place in buffalo forest but is there any other place u can fish for them?

i thought that gulp trout bait stuff was for fish that were used to eating dog food at the hatchery.

I think you're referring to bass lake in maplewood state park. Correct? I can't tell from your post if u have been there or not. I have not, but i am wondering how the fishing is there. I heard it wasn't great, but with so few trout lakes in that part of the state, why let that turn you off? ha.

Not really on the topic of the thread, but have you ever fished dead horse creek or elbow lake creek for brookies? I just saw on the DNR stocking reports that it is frequently stocked, just wondering if anybody fishes there.
