Turkey Choke for an old Remington 1100

Hi everyone, I have an old remington 1100 shotgun and was thinking of getting a turkey choke for it. Right now its just a full choke. I was wondering if anybody would have any recommendations for this gun. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Remington super full choke tube is good but does youre gun have screw in choke capability?

How much do you want to spend? Lots of option and most aftermarket chokes will outperform a factory choke. Then you have to figure out what load your gun/choke combo likes.

Some chokes I use in my turkey guns are HS Undertaker, Comp n Choke, Primos Jelly Head, Hastings Turkey choke, Primos Tightwad and a Tru Glo choke made by Banser who's name escapes me at the moment. Each has a different load it likes depending on the gun it's shot out of.

I'm guessing this gun doesn't have RemChoke and is just a fixed Full choke barrel (My 1100 12ga is like this) If that's your how your gun is your only option for interchangable chokes is to have some serious gunsmithing done or buy a new barrel with interchangable chokes.

If thats your option I'd just stick with what you have and find the best possible load for that gun.

anyone shoot a jellyhead out of a mossberg 500, OR shoot a mossberg 500 with a solid turkey choke, id be more than happy to hear about it.

Yeah, my gun doesn't have Remchoke, so I'm thinking I'll just stick with what I have.
