Any updates on the perch? I changed my plans and am now coming up the 13th-16th of March. I will have to stick to plowed roads or walking distance from them as I have no snowmobile's etc. Also does anybody know if there any plowed roads on the West side of the lake?

Was at DL last Thursday and Friday. We had some luck with perch and did well on walleye. Had to sit on the same area both days due to deep snow conditions. Evening bite made all the boring part of the day worth it. Picked up very few fish during the day. Morning and evening was a blast. Snow was so deep and getting stuck was the norm. Trucks better travel in pairs and have a good 20'-30' tow strap. My first trip to DL....I will be back in april for another go.

What part of the lake did you do so well on perch? A general area would be great i am heading up there at end of march and have always had good luck in the black tiger bay area for the perch, walleyes on the other hand that a diff story they are in one place one day and gone the next out there, but when you do get into them, wow are they thick!
