How do I get at my battery? - Vexilar FL-8

I've got an FL-8 with the black pack that fits inside a 5 gallon bucket. On the back side it has the molded holder for the transducer, and the battery is housed underneath it. Does the transducer holder come off? There are no screws and I tried to pull the holder up or to the sides and it doesn't seem to move.....

Try the bottom of the pack. sometimes there are screws holding it in from the bottom

Theres four screw on the back side you need to take out.

There are screws behind the head unit on a Pro Pack case that holds the transducer nest in place, and that in turn also holds the battery firmly in place.

Remove the FL-8 head unit from the Pro Pack Case to more easily access the screws.

Now from the front and you can remove the screws.

After that you will be able to remove or access the battery fully.
