Tooth & Rib Info

When will the DNR get the info out on the tooth and rib that you needed to send in. Or did I send in bad sample's so I didn't receive one?? It was my first bear and I am looking forward to the info on my bear...

if i recall correctly, it will likely be spring before you get the info back along with the patch. i dont think they send back any info on the rib, its used for checking bear densities, the dnr puts baits out laced with tetracycline,or something,in certain spots.

The last time I got a bear I think it was almost the next season before I got my info. It's a small postcard with the info on it.
