Catfishing Arts and Crafts

Some of you might know that last year I started using a rattling bobber for Flathead Fishing as described here Crappie Gear for Flatheads

Well I was going through some of my supplies here recently and realized I only had 1 left, so I guess it's time to restock!

These crappie bobbers, while not very expensive, can take a toll when you are going through a bunch of them. So, I think I came up with an inexpensive alternative.

Take a look:

You guys are worse than my wife laugh

Yes, please be careful, but these bobbers are such cheap plastic that I used very little downward pressure/force and not only that, but sometimes you just need to pull the dress up and get some business done. Pretty sure I got flak for wearing a glove a time or two landing a flathead last year. smile

Hey Rob, what is this Project Runway you speak of? Is it a TV show? Maybe you could tell us about your favorite episode. wink

I still gotta figure out how to sew on a button.

You don't have to sew. I think that glue gun would work on buttons. Just glue your buttons on and then proudly say "There I fixed that!" You might want to use Gorilla Glue on your jeans fly buttons though. You don't want something falling out from your swim suit area.

Why do I have trouble picturing Rushing watching some show called "Project Runway"? Amazing the stuff you pick up following these posts.

My fave ep is when that flamboyant cat guy from Jordan hot glued a bunch of bobbers together to make himself a purty Lady Gaga inspired skirt. It sure rattled nice as he walked down the runway. laugh *Work it girl...snaps twice in the air* :P

Dark,

Thanks for the video. I haven't been able to stop thinking about all the wonderful things I can sew buttons to. I think I need buttons on my head for my toupe. Some buttons on the side of the boat for attaching the net, the fish towel, etc. etc.

I think buttons will make everything better and I am sending Jenny some fan mail. She changed my life.

And for some advice for all the would be wizards out there......this kid is pretty good and his moves and wand tricks can't be taken lightly. I think I sprained my kidney on the taco wand wave......
