I built mine with canvas I got from a place in Rogers. I think its called Canvascraft. Its black and works really well. One tip I have is to buy the webbing they sell. Put that around the edge you are stapling.

I got some real heavy green canvas from G&J awning in Sauk Rapids. Very dark in my house. The canvas breaths better than some of the synthetic materials too so you don't get the condensation.

Viking is now making the same houses with the poles on the outside. i just got one this year i love it. i have a spear hole cut in the floor but i have been using it for fishing on the really cold nights. its much warmer than the otter.

there is a place in savage called "tarps" they have evrey thing u need. ijust bought about a hundred feet of it. Its not the ceap stuff,might coast a little more than the other stuff.
