Good Perch Lures

We are heading up to Cass lake next weekend for the first time. We are going to be fishing for perch, I have a couple buckshot lures, but what is another good lure to use? I dont fish perch much so just looking for a few pointers. Thanks

The Scenic Tackle Go Devils are a great lure for perch. I would use the 1/16 or 1/8th size but the 1/4 will also work.

Get some of those rattlin flyer spoons... oooh they are nice!! red glow is the best

The halis are sweet with dropper chain. Genz worms, forage minnows, bro bugs just a few good ones for ya

small jig to hold a small crappie minnow with. slip knot rig. best results i have on them for any lake. just put lure about foot off bottom

Lindy Rattlin Flyer red the best 1/16. Also red ratsos.

what lure you use should depend on the depth, size, and agressiveness of the perch

in shallow water, i pretty much limit my presentations to teardrop jigs tipped with minnows, and heavy horizontal jigs (like the maramooska) tipped with eurolarvea. but if the perch are bigger, i up the size of the lure. and i use a small northland forage minnow (buckshot) spoon or a frostee spool tipped with a minnow head or pack the treble with eurolarvea

with deep perch i tend to go with a heavier northland forage minnow spoon. and remove the treble hook, and add a 6" dropper and tie on a jig, and tip it with a minnow, or eurolarvea.

i also tie on a dropper about 1-2" long, and then tie the treble to the dropper, and tip it with a minnow head.
