Mystery Blob in Pics

Question for you camera gurus..What is the blob on the right side and what can be done to eliminate it ? Camera is a little pocket Canon A570.

If it is not crud on the outside of your lens that you could clean off it may be something on the lens on the inside that Canon would have to clean. If you do any cleaning make sure to use a Microfiber cloth and water. I would avoid using any chemicals or window cleaner.

Agree with Jim. Crossing my fingers that it is on the outside and a simple remedy.

Nope not on the outside. In my world things are never that easy to fix.Would I have to send it in to Canon or perhaps a local camera shop ??

wnt 4 ice, I would start at Bob's Camera repair in moorhead on Main Ave, near the Hornbachers area. Don't remeber exact adress but it may be right across from Walgreens on the south side of the road. That woudl be an intown place to try.
