Clip-on 12V light to mount on Marcum or Vex

Has anyone mounted or clipped on a 12V light on thier Marcum or Vex to shine right on the ice hole? I have a portable with a light above but was thinking of putting another light shining right on the hole. Seems like the best place to put plus it could be used outside since it would be portable. Is there a light on a flexible cable or something that you have seen?

I do not have a light on mine but I have looked at them. Vex sells a led one for around 25-30 bucks on a flex arm.

Home D has a two pack of LED lights (5) bulbs with two settings, and I have them clipped to my homemade Vex box, or you can clip them just about anywhere you want them. So far they work great, 3AAA have lasted for several early morning trips. $7.00 for the 2 pack. GL

P.S. Don't anyone drill a hole half way through the ice outside the porty between the two holes and hang a lantern in it with the slusher anymore? I did this for years and it works great!!!!!

Using an artificial light to lure or attract fish is unlawful. Exception: While

angling, a person may affix to the end of a fishing line a lighted artificial

bait with hooks attached. Any battery that is used in lighted fishing lures

cannot contain any intentionally introduced mercury.

Supercrew, Not going to do it. Just trying to understand what you are talking about? I got lost in the "hang a lantern in it with the slusher" If I got this right, you drill a hole half way through, hang a light in it so the glow attracts fish? Whats the slusher part?
