Canadian summer pike and walleye trip?

Where would you guys recommend for a drive to Canadian pike and walleye trip in Ontario? We like to catch lots of walleyes but we also especially like to get into some trophy pike. I have heard Gull Rock fits this description. Any others?

For some of the best walleye/northern drive in fishing available, I would look at Lake St Joe or even Lac Seul. These are both great bodies of water and the walleye fishing is second to none and trophy pike potential is great. You would be more than happy with either of these bodies of water for a real Canadian experience.

I would second Lac Seul. Rainy Lake is another booming fishery. Look to the Sioux Lookout area as well. There are some awesome lakes in that region. You really can't go wrong in the Province of Ontario or Manitoba for that matter. Good luck and let us know if you have any other questions.

I second Superbee's recommedation with Lake St. Joe for my 1st pick with Lac Suel being the 2nd pick for a Drive in/Boat in considering what you are looking for.

I third Lake St. Joes. It should be the best walleye/Northern Pike/least amount of traffic drive to lake in all of northwestern ontario.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a SMALLER drive to/pull in lake that is open to camping within 2 hours of International Falls? We had our heart set on Dryberry but camping is not allowed there.

It'd be a trip for college kids so money IS an issue. We want to be within a reasonable distance to cut down on gas expenses and the camping is more for the experience. Open to pretty much any species, just want good fishing and a remote wilderness feeling (not a lot of traffic)

It is difficult to find a road accessable lake that has camping allowed close to the border.
