You might want to look into using a twist top drink cooler like a Coleman or Igloo. No insulation to crack. The other huge benefit is no spilling or splashing during transport. I have been using them for years.

Tube from aqua pump fits down spout at home. They last along time, are smaller and don't spill during transport. Fits inside 5 gal bucket catch with room to spare. That means 1 less bucket. Styrofoam bait buckets don't seem to be very good anymore. Water seems to leak thru after awhile.
