Anyone using the 2010 Navionics North GPS chip yet?

I haven't had a new chip in about 7 or 8 years and it's time to upgrade.

Anyone have the regular Navionics 2010 HotMaps chip (not the Premium version)? I'm trying to save the roughly 30 bucks by buying the HotMaps and not the Premium but still get the Lake of the Woods and Rainy lake maps.

It also says "Survey and Navigations Chart". Is this their regular map with with some extras or a not so detailed map?

Thanks for the help.

I bought the 09 Hotmaps Premium this year and am very impressed with it for only $100 on sale. The one you are looking at should be pretty much the same just with a few less lakes. The survey and navigation is their HD version of the lake. Lake of the Woods I think has the full lake and the Rainy on it is a partial survey at least on mine but when I used it I didnt run into the part of the lake that wasnt in HD. If they are the same maps as they are on the Premium, which I would think they are, then you will be very happy with it even if you just use it for LOW and Rainy but its also nice to have almost every last in MN on it too.

Thanks for the comment buckhunter21, I did a chip to chip comparison of the 09 Premium and 2010 standard and they are nearly identical so I just bought the 09 Premium that I found on clearance. I just saved on the chip so I bought a slushmaster. wink
