picksbigwagon
Okay, tonights meal was easier than the burrito's. Take a couple pounds of pork chops (thin cut, bone in), pour on top a big can (28 ounces) of condensed tomato soup, a 16 ounce can of diced tomatos, a package of onion soup, salt and pepper. I added an extra onion. Cook on high for 6 hours (4 would have been fine too) or 8 on low.Serve with some rice on the side or with a baked potato. It is kind of like swedish steak, except it is pork and I am not swedish......
Chef
See, if you were Swedish, it would be fish instead of Pork!
picksbigwagon
Eewwwww, I am German, thus the pork, and truth be told it would be absolutely awesome over mashed potato's or spatzle

Phred52
I grew up in a German heritage household, my wifey, in a Swedish household. (I've since occupied Sweden) Hey...If you're German, you occupy. I love my Kraut and pork roast in the crock pot with/over bread dough dumplings or spaetzle. As long as you're making the dumplings, why not make a couple loaves of bread?? Wifey, on the other hand likes her Swedish meatballs, lutefisk, lefsa, Krumkake and a bunch of others that I can't recall....but they look do good on the plate, even better in the tummy! Here's what I made for dinner last night, Chicken Fajitas in the crock pot with tater tots on the side. Tomorrow, for dinner will be grilled Salmon sandwiches with a 'veggie' to be named later. So much for heritage!! It's "meals around the world"! Phred52
Jim Uran
Works well with a venison steak, I mix it up sometimes and add some brown gravy and a can of drained chopped tomotoes.

bassNspear
how about a pork roast, kraut, potatos, carrets, a can of beer, and chef secret. Let it cook on low all day, and you are ready to rumble. This is german all over again! Gota love it!
Phred52
Bass n, That there is just 'Good Eats'!! When I make that, I've found that keeping an eye on a crock pot is a "thirsty job"....One beer just ain't 'nuff . If your Blood Pressure is good, another good one is a couple of 1/2" to 3/4" Ham steaks separated by a layer of Kraut with thinly sliced 'taters in the Crock pot. Salty, Yes...But the beers help with that!! Phred52
