Buying a Camera

I have been looking into buying a good camera. I don't want to invest too much money but would like something nice. Can you give me some suggestions on a 35mm that has the small card in it, so I could just pull the card out and stick it in my printer to print the photos. If there is something with a good telephoto lens under say 500 that would be good. I don't know squat about cameras so use layman terms if you would. Thanks

Sony makes a very nice camera it is a cyber shot 10x optical zoom model #dsc-h20 10.1 pixels bought one for my wife and she says it is the best camera she has seen all the pics are great

You might want to stay away from Sony as most of their cameras use Sony's "memory stick" memory which no one else uses. I like their cameras, but hate the proprietary memory.

If you can spend a tad more than 500, you will get into the Canon Digital Rebel territory. Very good value now in a starter DSLR.
