On my h2o c yesterday i would zoom in and it would kick back out wide again after about 5 seconds...The low battery warning was on, was that why? Have not tried with new batt. yet.

Mine also did that the other day. In the three years I have used it I never saw that before... very frustrating. I don't recall what my battery level was. I would sure like to know if it was a setting I accidentally changed.

I don't think it's going to be a setting. You are sure that you were not hitting the exit/cancel button (I can't remember what it is called on the H20c)? You might want to consider the hard/soft reset or call Lowrance. The reset has been talked about on prior discussions in this forum I believe.

Must be the low battery causing it. I saw one do the same thing this weekend. Try zooming in close and it would bump out to 200 mi. range. Changed batteries and it stopped doing it. I just think it has a hard time loading the details when the battery is low.

I think i figured out my problem, I never cancelled the nav to a waypoint and in auto zoom mode it will keep the waypoint on the screen.Being 20 miles away at a different lake would explain it. It was zooming out to keep the poi on the screen.Hope so anyway will see next trip out.
