QUICKFISH 6 AND SNOW?

Hello, I have a question. I have an eskimo quickfish 6 that I will be using for the first time this weekend, am wondering if it is better to shovel all the snow down to the ice for the entire size of the house or is it better to leave the snow there? Thanks for your reply.

If you have some sort of floor to lay down- take it down to the ice. If not, the snow is better traction than bare ice.

I have a QF3 and shovel out the snow most times. It just seems to work better that way.

I've done it both ways, but I prefer to leave an inch or two of snow for traction. Any more than an inch or two and stuff doesn't sit in the house very well, especially when the snow starts to melt.
