I love the show. I got the book "Heat Wave" for Christmas. It lists on the jacket all the other books by Richard Castle. A web search lists NONE of them. Obviosly he is not a real person.

Now I'm sure this is a ploy by ABC to get us to watch the show, but just curious who the real auther is? Steven J. Cannell and James Patterson occasionally have bit parts in the show. Any ideas?
