Carpet floor for a pop up?

Just tried the new pop up this weekend, 6'x12' clam, the huge amount of space was wonderful! We brought out a small piece of carpet and it worked well. I am going to buy a piece to fit the house and make a pattern for holes. Has anyone done this? Any advice here?

i made a wood floor that folded up in side my clam.i didnt go with the carpet idea cause of the fish getting on it and thought it would stink up the place.so i went with wood with hinges worked pretty well.

Yes, I made one out of plywood and hinged it in the middle. I also framed the bottom with 1x2's and put the blue foam insulation into the framing.

I then drilled the hole to fish out of and another for my underwater camera. Then I carpeted it.

I really miss that floor as one could kneel down and not get wet kness while fishing in blue jeans. It also kept the floor very warm.

I had made it for a Fisah trap Voyager and sold it a few years ago.

I will be making another for my Otter & Cancas Craft.

yup mine also had the 1x2's on the bottom i also use the Fish trap Voyager.i dont use mine much ever since i built my sleeper for lotw.i gave my floor to a buddy of mine.
