walleye 4 me
last night I drove my 97 indy trail out of the garage to load on the trailer and all of the sudden the lights went very dim and I smelled smoke. I shut the motor off and looked under the hood for burnt wires or anything unussual, but didn't see anything. the sled started an idled fine after that, but I didn't have time to take for a test ride. Any ideas?
leech~~
Right inside the hood on the right side below the pull rope is a little black squire with one wire coming out of it. I can't remember the name of it, but it is some kind of fuse for the lights. I have had that start to go out and the lights did the same thing and it got pretty hot. Check and maybe replace that and see if it helps.

I had a dealer tell me that it was one of the things that go out on their sleds the most. I keep a spare in my sled now just incase.
