Firearm deer season dates ????

Does the firearm season the northern part of the always open on the first Saturday in November....or are there other stipulations too?

Don't quote me on this, someone on here will know for sure, but yes, it's always the 1st weekend in November sort of, as long as it's not prior to the 3rd or something like that. Meaning not if the first Saturday is the 1st or 2nd.

Propster has it right...opening day is always between Nov 3 and Nov 9, whichever day in that range is a Saturday.

In 2010 opener is Nov 6, in 2011 its Nov 5, in 2012 its Nov 3 (skips the 4th due to leap year) and in 2013 it skips back to Nov 9 and the rotation starts over again.
