Dose anyone have one or ever used one? They look like nice saws but a little spendy. I am wondering if they are worth it.

Yes I own one, got it this fall and absolutely love it. I will not be found in the woods without ever again. They are a lil spendy but the come in handy all the time. Go buy one you will not be disappointed.

I wish the saw was curved a little. Think it would cut better, but then again only tried it on aspen/popular trees.

Love the idea of it though.

Buy yourself a nice $8.00 Coleman fold-up saw. When you're out in the woods, there are milions of handles in all shapes and sizes. Find a nice aspen, poplar sapling, cut it and attach the saw to the end of it and WALLA! Instant extend-o-saw for a fraction of the price and bulk!

Bruledrifter I have tried that and it does work OK. If you want to carry duct tape or extra rope to tie it to the stick. Also you cant put as much pressure on the saw as a hooyman saw. Just my opinion.

I do exactly what bruledrifter said and just use the rope I have for hoisting my bow up to my stand, works great for trimming shooting lanes and relatively cheap seeing how I seem to loose about 1 saw every year or two out in the woods...
