Marmish Rods

I'm curious what some of you that have tried Marmish rods think of them? I've been looking for a new shallow water panfish setup and this seems to be the ticket. Is the more expensive one worth the extra dough?

I would say yes. There are a lot of people that swear by them. However they're not a one shot pony. As others would say they're just another tool.

I just got a few myself, and I'm anxious to try them out.

I have had one for a few years now, and have used it once. I am a lazy guy when it comes to fishing. I put bait on and let it work for me, and I do alright. The Marmish system, you have to work for the fish by constant jigging. Nothing wrong with it, just that I am lazy.

Thanks for the info. zamboni. I must have missed the booth. That place was a mad house. I noticed them on the site but it seems like international shipping is a bit pricey.

Their booth was upstairs by the ATV's and ATV gear. Used to be down on the main floor, don't know why they moved

I believe that Cabin Fever used to carry them, but I don't know if they still do. Might be worth a phone call. Otherwise I know I've seen them on a very popular internet auction site.
