Ice Thickness Tester - Hillbilly Style

Here is my Hillbilly Ice gauge.

Just pop a hole in the ice with the chisel and slide this right down the hole.

Then lift up to catch the bottom side of the ice.

I made it with a free yardstick from the great minnesota get together and some bracket I had in a drawer in my garage.

Works pretty good.

Still workin on laser guided spear with northern sonar and tracking beacon... Might be a couple years...
