Hooking up x 25 to a polaris snowmobile for power.

Hi,

does anyone know how you would go about hooking up your graph to your sled. My thought is to use a battery so there is steady voltage but I dont want to try it for fear it will ruin my 900 graph and I would not mind using just a battery for the unit but graph takes alot of power and I just would like to hook it up to my sled power.

If your sled has a battery I ould just hook it up. It has a regulator on it. If it dont have a battery your going to have to use a battery and recharge it when nessasary.

Make sure you use a fuse on the power to the x25 to protect it!

yep a fuse is a must even if its just hooked to a battery itself

the crystal gell or what ever it is in your nice SUMMER fishing graph can be damaged by the cold and in combo the bouncing around on a sled. ive tried it, it will work for the year on the ice, but it slowly starts getting dull color or pixels and then is really hard to see when you are using it in summer. i threw my nice lowrance in the garbage. good luck

I have used my 522 for I think three years with no trouble it is just hard to hold on to everything and drive.
