Can you use mallard decoys during goose season?

I like to mix the spread up, wondering if you can still use duck decoys even though the season is over.

I can't see why not. I have seen guys use blue herons and egrets as confidence decoys, and you can't shoot those.

I've used diver and mallard decoys for several years during the late season. And when the ducks land they usually don't stay to long but it sure looks great all that action in the coys.
