Bob Horn
Who from Illinois is going to the St.Paul ice show? I am leaving tomorrow. This is the show for ice fishing. If you have never been you should try and go some year. You will see things that don't make the Chicago shows.
Bob Horn
Got back at midnight. What a fantastic show. It was mayhem in a good way. I seen some great deals on flashers that would blow your mind. The stores said they were show only prices so I am not going to say how low they where. I got to see some faces that I haven't seen in 4-5 years. Seen Northlander, Airjer, and Paul Waldowski. Sorry if I got any of the spelling wrong on the names. I hope some more of the Illinois guys and gals can make it up there next year.

Bob Horn
I didn't get a chance to get in on any seminars. To busy working and my free time went to seeing all the goodies. The flasher deals that I seen were on Marcums. Yes you can shoot through the ice. You will need to turn your gain up and make good contact with the ice. I use a plumbers torch and melt the surface of the ice. No chemicals to worry about then. For gas for your torch you can use your 1 lb. tanks that you would use for your heater. No fancy gas to by and it starts in cold temps.
