A good season for me.

I didn't get to fish as much as I would have liked this season but it was still a good season. Including 2 fish over the 10 inch mark. I've posted one of them before but here is the one I caught in October and just now got around to uploading.

I didn't get a tape on it but its over 10 for sure, probably not quite to the 11 inch mark.

For a sense of scale I'm 6'4".

As a comparison here is the 11 incher from August that I posted before. With a pinched tail it crossed the 11 inch mark pretty easily.

Both fish came from the exact same spot and both came from a small farm pond in Wisconsin.

it might be me but that first one looks like it could be a little longer. if anything its fatter.

It could be a tad longer, I didn't get a tape on it but it was close, I thought maybe a little shorter but it could have been longer. For sure it was fatter, not even close in that department.

I'll see if I can catch either one of them next season to see how big they get.

couple of nice greens, small ponds seem to be a favorite of green sunfish, my biggest green this year was 9.5".
