Wow, I have some research to do. Mine is so simple and accurate it will be hard to give it up. Black powder, 370 grain maxi ball, cap and bang. A friend on Saturday somehow broke his breech plug ? The new Muzzy's must be easier to clean than mine, using boiling hot water and etc. or not? Best part is Sunday afternoon I have to shoot mine 1 last time to empty the gun.

The last weekend is always flintlock season for me. It comes out of the safe on Friday night. Nothing like touching one off and waiting for the smoke to clear to see how you did.
