mrclean
There was alot of nice bass weighed today.I think the biggest was 5.7lbs.It was another great year fishing L.E.T.S. Thanks to Rob for the beer and pizza afterward and to Dan for bringing the beer for the final weigh in.
Matt Johnson
Yep, Waconia was a fun time. Another thanks to Dan for the beverages and an excellent job as president this year. I'm looking forward to next year! Here's a bass I got, about 22 inches and 5.7 pounds (5 pounds 11 ounces)... Here's one just smaller than the one above, not sure the weight of this one... And the muskie, put up an awesome fight and jumped out of the water a couple times... We managed to bring in a limit of bass weighing about 17 pounds, two of which were 5 plus pounds a piece. But Dan and his dad brought in 5 bass that weighed almost 22 pounds!!! Very impressive. Over a 4 pound average for Dan and his dad!!! I've never seen more 4 pound plus bass in person caught in one day in my life! Very nice fish everyone! lots of luck
Drove through the parking lot Saturday morning at about 7:45, I live just west of Waconia in a little town called Mayer. Those are some good looking FM decals, think I'll have to purchase a few. So how did you guys fair? Looks like Matt did very well.

wastewaterguru
Caught a lot of nice bass and had our limit before 8:30 in the morning.Went after northerns trolling a variety of baits and had no luck. Did manage to put 14 sunnies in the livewell and that was the reason we were second and not 4th or 5th.Great weather on Saturday. Looking forward to next season already. Matt Johnson
Chuck,That muskie only went about 38.5 inches, a very thick fish though. I needed it to be about 1.5 inches longer John,You and Lance caught some big bass too, I wouldn't just credit it to the sunnies. Although I would have taken those sunnies Make sure you look me up one of these days so we can go chase some cats.
