Boar, I am glad to hear about your whiplash, it could have been a lot worse. I still cringe when I climb any kind of ladder, I don't like my feet being off the ground.....

great to hear your alright boar sounds like the biggest hurt is the pride with the wife. been there done that and she wont let me forget it either

Boar, my son (almost 7) and I were out at the farm I decided not to hunt this fall (opted for iowa, 1 week to go!!!!), and he wanted to climb up my 10' ladder stand. I shook the living tar out of that stand to make sure it was safe to climb and sit in....I am still glad things turned out okay for ya, or at least better than it could have been
