Best County in South Dakota?

I was just wondering something. If you had to pick a county in south dakota that had the best fishing and hunting for all around everything which would it be. Preferably like walley or bass fishing and maybe duck and deer hunting.

Marshall County.

I'd go with a county bordering Lake Oahe or somewhere else along the Missouri River. I'm more familiar with the north part of the state, so I'd go with Campbell, Walworth (Mobridge), or Potter (Gettysburg). Hughes County (Pierre) would be a good choice as well.

If you hadnt of thrown ducks in the mix, or if you substitute pheasants for ducks, I would opt for Lyman.

I would say Coddington county. They are good walleye lakes within an hours drive of watertown. They is always a lot of local geese around.

I grew up in Aberdeen, so I would possibly lean towards brown county, not necessarily fishing but hunting, always had a good goose season, pheasants are plentiful, and you are always within an hour of good fishing.

Funny to think driving 60 miles to fish every weekend seemed ridiculous when I lived there, but now that I live in Fargo, I accept that I am going to have to drive a minimum 100 to 200 miles round trip to get to any decent hunting or fishing...

You would not go wrong if you picked any county in eastern South Dakota.
