Wish-I-Were-Fishn
Does anybody offer a free re-loadable debit card? My son doesn't want a charge card, but wants the convenience of using one instead carrying cash.I know there are some available that charge $6.95 per reload, but that is to much $$ each time for him. Any free ones out there?

0 Farley
What youre looking for is a secured credit card. Some banks and credit unions will have them. they report to the credit beureu just like a regular credit card so if he is responsible, it will help raise his credit rating. 0 CJH
Have you checked with your bank or Credit Union? They may have an option for you. Otherwise, as mentioned above, a debit card will basically work the same way, as I believe you can set it up to disallow transactions if there are insufficient funds (vs. it bouncing and getting charged fees and interest). 0 BobT
I believe you can also set them up with a limit per transaction.
