Spear sharpening

I've been spearing for several years now and have never sharpened my spear. Is there any secret to it? I thought I'd just take a flat file and grind a little. Hopefully we're only a few weeks away!!

I use a file and emmory cloth to sharpen mine just be carefull

I was looking for some reference on line but couldn't find any.

Just sharpen them until you draw blood, then quit. lol

done the same, however, dont have to do that now, with a new laser cutting spears!
