Well, i see there really isn't a post for your hunting reports. Nice to see how everyone is doing.

We are just seeing some good rut activity this week. Grunted in 3 bucks last night to about 20-30yds. The biggest was about a 120-130 in 8 pt. At his ears with close to a foot long tines. Not sure why i didn't shoot, guess i wanted my dad to fill his own tag.

Not much action on the opener for us. Brother shot a small 9pt, first ever buck so he was pumped. Couple does shot, otherwise mostly combineing for my cousin and uncle, hope to hit it a little harder this weekend.

Had a 150-160in ten point laying in the ditch with a doe in my uncles tiny thicket, almost wet myself when i saw it laying there. Got everyone together and it managed to stay 250 + away from me and i didn't hit it. Uncle had decent shooting but missed. Guess they are lucky and thats why he is big.

Our party of 4 has 1 doe. Been a few years since I remember hunting deer in such warm weather.

openning weekend i was up in 116. our party of 8 ended up with 3 bucks. nothing big. ill be heading to zone 18 for the last 10 days of the season. didnt see and bucks chasing.

2 for 5 so far. Waiting for Mr. Big to show himself. We saw 12 on saturday, 2 on Sunday, 0 Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. Hunting pressure has been fairly light around us. Not sure if it is the warm temps or if the bucks are locked down with their does. Probably a combination of both. Gotta work the rest of the week but will be back at it on Saturday. Hoping for cooler temps.

Our party of 5 seen 14 opening day 3 small bucks 1- 7, 1-8, and 1 fork. 7 and 8 were cruisin for does at 1230, and 130 pm

2nd day- one memeber took the fork. seen 7 on sunday.

3rd day - 3 does seen.

4th day - No deer seen

5th day - No deer seen

Things seam to have shut down for us at least. Scrapes havent been freshened up, I think we need warmer weather and a little more people in the woods to get them moving. Maybe saturday morning.
