I don't recall seeing anything as you describe on this site. It would be interesting to see if anyone has tried this. Clam makes a ice fishing chair that has a back - has lots of room to store tackle/rods. I think it is designed with shoulder straps to make it easy to haul around.

On light duty seats you can bolt them to a securely fitting 5-gal pail lid and snap them on the pail. The economy blue seat is a good one for this.

I have rigged them up before, works well. Some pails have tighter lids than others and the best of the best is the screw on lids or the crew on lid conversion tops one may add to a pail...and than bolt the light seat to it.

Search "Bucket Buddy Comfort Chair" on the web. It's what I picked up a few years ago and I'm really happy with it. I can sit on it all day and my back or bum doesn't get tired at all.

I'm about 155lbs so I'm not a big guy by any means so it works good for me. I'm not sure how well it would work for someone that's 250+. By no means could you just lean back and put your feet up with it without being catious. But it has great back support.

other wise what you need to get is a 7 gal pail. they sit little higher off the ground. Then what a friend did was made a seat that was x shaped on the bottom and had a seat that sat on top of that. then he made a back for it. was made up all from 1/2 inch plywood.
