spear mods

does anyone have an opinion whether or not to add a contoured handle on your spear or leave it plain rod stock? i've seen spear versions with a nice contoured "wood" handle and initial looks are nice. perhaps there's cons to this?

i'm always looking to 'tinker' with something. anyone else have mods they've done to benefit the art of spearing?

kudos to the guy to invent an electronic gadget for a hobby---i work in electronics all day and always try to incorporate them into my sliver of hobby time between work/kids/wife/church (not necessarily in that order)

It will be intersting to see what you come up with as the next gadget to torment B-N-S.

As for the design/idea these things have been around longer than I have.

I don't know if anyone else put them in PVC tubing though. lol

sometimes traditional just dont work so there is always room for improvement easpeacially when it comes to spearing with some of these guys besides I like tormenting a certain someone
