Get a nice stock photo, find a good tutorial, and photoshop yourself a nice one.

If you want to go Vikings, take like AD and put him on a purple cloud background, kinda like below (only it won't be the video game character I have). Then make the gridlines horizontal so it looks like he's really moving, maybe blur his edges a bit too.

I used to do this quite often, but because people recognize me by my sig I had to stop changing it.
