I have worked the sugar beet harvest for the past 15 or so years and this is the worst I remember. Please Mother Nature turn off the water !!!!!

What does this have to do with ice fishing you ask ? It got me out in the garage and I installed Refletix in the old voyager. I have had the material since last fall but was concentrating on full blown mods last year. This fall it's all about "tweaking". I added hyfax and a sheet of plastic that covers the entire bottom...finally wore a hole it. Also changed the way one lid opens and the refletix.Everything I have read here is very positive about it. It was an easy install and seems to fold up nicely. I can't wait to get it out to see what difference it makes.

All right I admit it I fired up the buddy and sat in there for an hour. It was nice and toasty !!!!

If anybody wants to do this I have a chunk 4'X 11' I would be willing to share. Should be enough to do two smaller units or one mid-size. With the holidays around the corner a little extra coin is sometimes hard to find. If you want some I have extra. Call me 701-799-0280...home Sun gone Mon - Wed.

I can sympathize with you...received about 4" snow down here yesterday..combine that with reading this site and the next thing ya know, had all the ice reels out. Stripped about 15' line off each, checked for nicks, spun some new on a few reels. Pulled the reels apart and lubed & cleaned the actions. Moved a lot of gear from the softwater tackle box to the hardwater box. Set up and checked the ice house. Fired up the heater, blah, blah. Now I don't have a thing to do but wait!!!!
