Northern Lights and the Big Dipper

Recommended Posts

My black lab was barking out the back door and lo and behold, there were the faintest hints of some northern light. My wife got home a bit ago and said "yeah, they were really dancing a little while ago!" Well, by the time I got set up there weren't much left, but I got a little taste. Wondering if Stu had a better look up north across the big lake?

Ken, nice work!

We're in a low cycle overall for sunspot activity, which is what generates northern lights. Like ruffed grouse numbers, sunspot activity is cyclical, and we're in a down year.

Look forward to seeing anything folks have to offer.
