Vent Free Blue Flame or Radiant

I'm looking at 2 different heaters for in a skid house, both from Northern Tool, both 10,000 BTUs, both vent free. One is a regular blue flame, and the other is radiant. What are some opinions on the pro's/con's of these in terms of safety, moisture, etc.

Safety wise they both should have low oxygen shut off. I personally have a blue flame and love it with it's thermostat Not sure typically radiant heaters don't have that. That is a big thing for me.

i have a blue flame and it works great. i wish i had bought a bigger one though for quicker heating when i first get to the house.

The blue flames are a much better heat then the radiants. The blue flame heats the air and the radiant heaters heat object that heat the air.

Both are safe as long as you have the sensors on them.

FYI: I wouldn't buy one of those Pro-Coms from Northern... the're junk! Your better off spending the extra $20-$30 bucks and getting a better brand like Empire.

also consider this if you dont want to spen the money on an empire. Look into the Big Buddy heater. It will work like the wall mount and you can take it with you for other puposes like hunting and portable ice fishing. I use mine in the garage as well. They have holes in the back that you can actually mount to the wall.
