uptracker
I tried buying my NR gun tag online and the system asked me for a hunt zone which I entered as "A". The next question was a hunt area. I'm in the belief that they wanted a 3 digit number such as ex: 101. Does this mean I can't hunt outside of the 3 digit zone? Do residents have to claim the same? I may just wait until I leave on the 5th and get it at Gander Mountain etc. Does MN have a computer sytem that prints your license or is it all on paper? I'm worried that I amy not be able to get a tag at certain locales due to being sold out if they are on paper in a book like some other States and Provinces. Red Miller
As a resident, we are asked the same about the 3 digit "block" that we normally hunt. I believe thats survey data and its used for lottery (too late for that). If you chose season "A" then your license is for bucks only anywhere in that zone/season A. The tags are printed at the POS on special media that serves as the site tag and license. I have never done it online but I imagine the DNR would mail that to you....not sure there. vister
licenses are ran electronically, and printed out. the 3 digit zone is where you are most likely to hunt. you are not limited to that zone as our licenses are statswide. read and keep regs with you! different zones allow different options. its up to you to know your bag limits. zones vary among lottery, managed, and intensive harvest. where you plan on hunting? feel free to ask any question here, and we'll get ya an answer.whats nice about mn, is there are no additional fees and surprise charges to nonresidents, like iowa. oofta! yes, we also have to tell them our area. mine is 240, but i can hunt anywhere in the state as long as there is an open season, and i have the appropriate valid tag.if im wrong, someone please correct me
John478
Then MN online deer licences are mailed to you house unlike the small game and fishing licences that you can print out at home. the last time I bought one online it took 3 or 4 days to get. Its kind of funny it was post marked from some where in Texas I believe
